ANVIL AND LOOM: FOUNDATION

Foundation is a free, manual tabletop workspace. Bring your own games,
books, tables, characters, and imagination. It does not include rulebooks,
licensed game data, or automated game rules.

WHAT CHANGED
- Foundation now checks the Anvil and Loom website for Windows updates.
- Open Updates from the campaign screen or Settings to check, download, and
  install a newer version. The app saves an open campaign before restarting.
- Development log and archived READMEs are available on the website.

CORE TOOLS
- Genuine 3D dice, a two-die tray, extra dice cards, named expressions,
  hotbar shortcuts, and manual face adjustments.
- Numbered dungeon rooms and corridors, overland hex regions, vector map
  symbols, pins, color, pan/zoom, and a Current Place panel.
- Room and region journals, manual notes, linked roll results, and tracks.
- Editable character sheets for 2d6 Dungeon, d100 Dungeon, Ker Nethalas,
  d100 Space, and custom games. Equipment and creature records are editable.
- Personal tables imported from text or CSV, with physical rolls and
  highlighted results.
- Local campaign saves, recovery copies, portable exports, and local PDF
  references.

INSTALLATION
The Foundation mailing list welcome email contains the download link.
If the download is a ZIP, extract it and run Foundation-0.1.1-Setup.exe.
The installer is currently unsigned. Check that your download came from
anvil-and-loom.com and run it only if you trust that source.

UPDATES AND SAVES
This is the first build with the auto-updater. Users of 0.1.0 need to
download and install 0.1.1 manually; updates after that can be installed
from within Foundation. Desktop campaigns are saved locally under
Documents/Anvil_Foundation_Tabletop/Campaigns. Keep your own backups,
especially before changing computers.
